About Mega Wash Express

Located at 17316 E Sprague Ave, Spokane Valley, WA 99016, Mega Wash Express operates as a car wash serving Spokane Valley in Washington. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 7 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Spokane Valley is in Washington, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. Getting around Spokane Valley is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Washington's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We love the young men at this mega wash. They are always so nice and they do a great job washing our car

Not worth the price. This was the highest priced car wash I have ever seen. $35.00 for the midrange wash. But we were not familiar with the area and we were already pulled up to the bay.(prices were not posted in a spot where you could easily leave if you don't want to pay that much). Of the 3 boys working there, only 1 seemed to actually be doing his job and he was the one collecting the money. The half sprayed and cleaned the windshield and only driver's side windows. We went through and there were still bugs all over the windshield and grill. And a stripe down each side of the truck that never got touched by the washer. We will never go back.

I came through last week and pulled up to the gate to use my membership. One of the employees was standing nearby waiting for me to pull up. When I rolled down my window, he looked at my car and said, β€œLooks like you were a target.” My car was covered in bird droppings. I laughed and replied, β€œYep, pretty much sums up how my week has been.” We shared a quick laugh, and I pulled forward to start the wash. I noticed the employee walk over and speak with the attendant at the entrance before heading off. The next thing I knew, the attendant was taking extra time to pre-treat and spray down all the areas covered with bird droppings before sending my car through the wash. What stood out to me wasn’t just how clean my car came outβ€”it was the genuine customer service. They took a moment to connect with me, listened, understood that I’d had a rough week, and went the extra mile to make sure my car was taken care of. It may seem like a small gesture, but it honestly made my week so much better. Thank you for caring about your customers and delivering such outstanding service. These people are truly great, and I highly recommend them!

The guys pre-wash your car with a brush for all washes. Many places don’t. And their prices are still reasonable. Drying towels available, too!

Mega Wash, A MEGA MISTAKE This is an update ro my five star review. In September we visited the Argonne location. We had been told that Mega Wash gave Veterans a discount. The attendant couldn't figure out how to give us that discount and offered unlimited car washes for the remainder of the month for $16.32 in lieub of the Veterans discount. We got one more car wash before the month ended. On Nov. 2, I noticed a charge to my debit card for $27.21 from Mega Wash. Went back and looked at Oct. and on the second we had been charged $27.21 also. I called every location, several phones were not in service. I was able to leave a message on one No one returned my call. I finally disputed the charges with my bank. Then on Dec. 2, you can guess what happened. My husband went to the Argonne location, no manager available. They said our account was now closed. I finally talked to someone who said they don't give refunds but he would talk to the owner about a refund or a gift certficate . He promised an answercin 24 hours. He did share that the individual who opened the account no longer works there and this man promised to get back to me in 48 hours. It has been over a week I n
